The MotherLode Tournament turns more into a festival atmosphere each year and this year is no exception. The tournament last for 6 days official and a new tourney format allows for participants to compete in multi-day divisions allowing them to "pool out" and move into the playoff competitions. Top teams will move into the "MotherLode Championship division and the rest of the teams will then be put into the "Festival" division.
The tournament will feature 18 different divisions of play at 7 sites in and around the Aspen area. Main Championship courts located at Koch Lumber Park (sand) and Wagner Park (grass). Spectator admission is FREE -- with food and beverage concessions, music, and a full "volley-fair". All in all, making for a fun and exciting volleyball tournament to watch.
Of course, there's also the infamous after parties as well, which will be at 39 Degrees at the Sky Hotel (appetizers and music) and at The Regal Watering Hole (where you will find dancing, dancing, and more dancing). Yee haw! See you there!
