Mahogany Run Golf Course in St. Thomas
Guests of the Ritz Carlton St. Thomas Residence Club have membership access to the Mahogany Run Golf Course, designed by George and Tom Fazio.
Building the Mahogany Run Golf Course was an amazing engineering and architectural feet due to the rocky terrain. When it was finished in 1980, it quickly became a favorite of celebrities, pro golfers, and Golf Digest. The 14th hole of the course is located on a cliff, 200 feet above sea level, and has an amazing view of the surrounding islands.
The tropical flora and fauna of the course add to its charm. You will find papaya and mango trees, iguana, mongoose, parrots, and you might even be able to see the migrating hump-backed whales from the 14th hole.
There are 2 on-site restaurants, the Mahogany Run Grill Room and Coconuts. The Grill Room has been renovated and is now an elegant and modern restaurant that serves a modern fusion of Latin, Asian, and French cuisine with some American and Caribbean influence. Read our review of the Grill Room.
The Mahogany Run Golf Course is located 20 minutes from Charlotte Amalie and 15 minutes from Red Hook, where the Ritz Carlton is located.
