Vail Nightlife: Vail Bars & Vail Clubs

Vail offers an extensive selection of bars, restaurants, après ski spots, hotel lounges, and a few nightclubs. The main stretch of nightlife is on Bridge Street, from Hanson Ranch Road to the covered bridge at the Gore Creek Inn. Guests of the Ritz Carlton Vail, Four Seasons Vail, and Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch Residence Clubs will have no problem finding fun things to do in Vail.

Most people end up at Vendetta’s eventually! It’s open late and serves pizza, beer, wine and cocktails. Crowd is a mix of locals and tourists. Laid back and friendly atmosphere.

Bistro Fourteen is located on top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola at Eagle’s Nest. The floor-to-ceiling windows and patio offer amazing mountain views. Try one of their microbrews, fondue, or chicken pot pie.

This popular local’s hangout in Lionshead Village is a great place to relax and have a cold beer. The patio offers great people watching. If you’re hungry, try a burger or Mr. Bill’s Nachos, made with homemade pineapple sauce.

The George

The George is hard to find, but worth it if you like a laid back atmosphere and cheap drinks. The George hosts one of the best Happy Hours around, from about 3 to 7 and drinks at $3.75. The $16 King Crab and Steak dish is their most popular. You can bring equipment inside and relax on one of their lazy boy couches.

Gore Range brews their own beer, has live music on the back patio, and sports TVs throughout. They are a popular stop on Vail pub crawls.

Vin 48 has Happy Hour nightly from 5-6:30pm at the wine par. There are amazing views of Beaver Creek from their patio. Vin 48 hosts special wine events and wine tasting as well.

Loaded Joe’s is a gourmet coffee shop by day and bar by night. Happy Hour is from 3-7pm, and their new special offers $3 well shots from 9pm to midnight. Loaded Joe’s was named “Best Local’s Pub” by Vail Daily’s Best of 2010.

Located in Lionshead Village, Garfinkel’s is a popular après ski spot. There is a great selection of beer, sports TVs, patio with great mountain views, and a lively atmosphere. The chicken nachos and Garfbuger are excellent, and the shot wheel is a lot of fun!
