The Young Explorers Day Camp is a licensed day camp that provides a range of exciting activities from horseback riding to arts and crafts for ages 5 to 12. Let’s start planning now to ensure that your children have the summer they will never forget!
The Young Explorers Day Camp has perfectly curated special itineraries for your children depending on their age group which includes Discovery Camp, Adventure Camp, and Five Star Camp. They have ensured that your children will be beat after an entire day of fun as each day runs from 9 am - 5 pm. Drop off is located in the Beaver Creek Village inside of the Children Ski and Snowboard School.

The Discovery Camp is tailored for children ages 5 - 7. Activities are perfect for younger campers who require ease and creativity. Children can be found spending the day at Glenwood Hot Springs, swimming and riding thrilling slides. For those who love to express their creativity, painting with watercolors at the Creekside Park followed by lunch is the perfect afternoon activity. Face painting, paddle boating, and pony rides are a few other activities included for this age group.

During the month of August, Adventure Camp is offered which caters to children ages 8 - 12 with a daily changing schedule. Campers can enjoy more advanced activities that challenge them physically and mentally. Imagine a picture-perfect day with outdoor rock climbing at Camp Hale and ending on a creative note as the children partake in rock painting in Beaver Creek. If nature and animals are preferred, campers can opt for an interactive visit at the Mountain Valley horse rescue where they will spend the day riding and tending to the horses. Hiking, mountain biking, and ziplining are just a few of the other activities your children can enjoy as well.
The Five Star Camp is also only available during August and is fully inclusive as it offers activities for ages 5 - 12. Depending on the day, campers can enjoy intermediate to advanced activities. Excursions range from an action-packed day at the Cooper Mountain Adventure Park to mini-golf and crafts. Specific camp calendars can be found below:
